Just turn the page and begin a new chapter

As I was passing lately, like most Lebanese, through extremely bad circumstances in life, an unprecedented economic crisis that shook us brutally and continuing, a succession of sad events and associated disastrous effects on the background of a covid-19 pandemic during which I witnessed with my family, my neighbours and friends the most outrageous blast in modern history, the Beirut Port blast, a crime for which the Lebanese are still seeking the truth and failing to find justice while the culprits are always moving in full liberty among us and protected from any punishment, under the eyes of the free world and the suspect silence of its leaders.

Today my inner child woke me up and surprised me by telling me:

"When bad things happen in life, don't close the book, just turn the page and move to a new chapter".

Always enjoy reading your own book of life especially when you see it drifting into chapters co-authored by "life" and that you would have never wanted to write, had it been up to your sole volition.

Stay expecting the best which is yet to come and when you're traversing through the worst make sure you never get tempted or dragged neither into the panic of the moment, nor into the paralysis of despair.

When you can't understand the "Why" of what has happened, you still have the privilege and the promise of being able to connect the dots backwards by looking into the "rear mirror" of "life", and most importantly while making your next moves smarter.

Don't let your imagination take you by surprise. Your imagination can be your best friend or your worst foe. Always beware of the latter.

Renewed hope is always hiding behind the unread pages and between the so many chapters of better tomorrows inside your book of life, the pages and chapters that have not been written yet, or that have been written by "Life" but remained unpublished and kept secretly hidden to you.

Tell yourself that if uncertainties are unpleasantly worrisome, certainties can be absurdly dangerous or dangerously absurd.
