UChange for a stronger USJ

As a student, the board director of UChange and active member in the USJ community, I have seen many of my fellow student friends struggle like never before during the past year. From excessive study workload to life pressures while forming a future for ourselves. We, the students, have witnessed a year that have reshaped our lives. Working on that project to get that certificate, attending those workshops in different time zones, working on our interview pitches to land that job… All these have left us disconnected from the outside world.

This is where alumni succeed to help students out.

As pioneers in their fields, and veterans who have battled the same fights on their way to success, alumni with their experiences and network will take some pressure off students’ shoulders.

This is where we succeeded at UChange in collaboration with the USJ Alumni Federation, we have put forth a numerous number of networking events allowing students to connect with alumni from the same faculty helping them with tips on how to take the right lanes and skip the unnecessary traffic.

Because we live in a world of give and take, and students are the next alumni! Let us show them how we do it so that they themselves can take on our legacy of helping the ones in need to create a stronger USJ and Lebanese community.
