Dr Anne Marie Samaha (FM, 2007) was named Best Primary Care Provider- Family Medicine in the annual Best of the Pee Dee Contest for 2020.

Best of the Pee Dee is an annual salute to the best businesses and services, food, venues, entertainment and health care in the Pee Dee, with more than 280 categories included.

Dr Anne Marie Samaha is an American Board-certified family physician. She graduated from Saint Joseph University of Beirut Medical School in 2007. She was also a member of the Lebanese Red Cross- Antelias for almost 5 years where she was part of the first aid teams. She completed her family medicine residency, as well as a fellowship in Women’s health at Case Western Reserve University- University Hospitals in Cleveland Ohio and graduated from the program in 2012. She became a National Certified Menopause practitioner in 2011 and still maintaining her certificate until now. 

Dr Samaha started practicing Family medicine with a focus on Women’s health and geriatrics at MUSC primary care (previously known as Carolinas hospital), in Florence, South Carolina since 2012. A good part of her patient load are patients with chronic multiple medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, depression, anxiety to name a few. She enjoys working with patients on their plan of care and offer personalized treatments as she believes that each patient is unique. She values the doctor- patient relationship and works during her visits to empower the trust and the comfort of her patients toward her and the practice. During her practice she loves supervising Nurse Practitioners. She also mentors and teaches students who complete their clinicals in her practice. Dr Samaha has also a special interest in preventative medicine and coaching. She is enrolled currently in an 18 months program to become a certified Health and Wellness coach and is planning on taking the National Board-Certified exam through the NBHWC (National board of health and wellness coaching) in 2021.

She currently resides in Florence, SC. She is married to Dr Fadi Seif a Pulmonary, Critical Care specialist and a proud mother of 5 kids Eli, Jana, Yara, Cyrine and Charbel.
